I didn't know how desperately I wanted to see a change in goverment until I started crying on the treadmill this morning. Crying when I saw more blue on a graph than red.
I guess that is how I know I'm an adult, isn't it?
Can't answer that for certain even though I'm older than you, Leah. Usually when I cry on the treadmill it's because I realize only 3 minutes have passed.
It's amazing how Senator George "Macaca" Allen's one soul baring gaffe essentially handed the Senate to the Democrats which now gives the Democrats the ability to block judicial appointments for at least the next 2 years. Perhaps Allen should replace his confederate flag license plate with a self-portrait - that of a monkey or a horse's ass.
In fairness, Coulterandingraham, it wasn't just one soul baring gaffe. For a while there it did seem like everytime reluctant-Jew Georgie opened his mouth, more macaca flowed forth.
But I very much like the idea of the license plate, now that's some good thinking!
Allen claims his mother didn't tell him of his heritage until August 2006. He was not trying to portray himself as a bubba worthy of winning the rural/Evangelical vote so critical to Republican politicians aspiring to statewide and national office. I really believe that. Why would he lie?
