Position: bear bile extractor
Location: Jilin Province, China
Requirements: experience in surgically implanting catheters in bears and/or sticking a hollow tube through the bear's tummy in order to extract its bile, which is used in traditional Chinese medicine; the ability to imagine the many uses which bile extracted from live bears might serve; the ability to not question how in the dawn of time, or whenever it was, someone in Jilin province ever had the occasion to experiment with bear bile (this disqualifies me as I fail to be able to imagine the situation in which that occasion would arise).
Occupational hazards: risk of becoming bear lunch, most likely resulting in death as it did for one fine young bear bile extractor who eaten by six of his bears. Burp.
Other: I'm seriously not kidding. See the New York Times story.
